My name is Gital Press, a dance photographer and someone for whom creation has always been an integral part of her life. I was born and raised in Jerusalem, and in my early 20s I moved to Tel Aviv – where I live today with my partner, our cat Kitri, and our dog Wendy.
Since childhood, I have loved to dance, create choreography, draw, and find ways to express myself through movement and color.
Dance has always been a part of me – and it is still a significant hobby today.
At the age of 18, I was exposed to the world of photography professionally, and I quickly realized that this was the place where I could combine my two loves – photography and dance.
This is how I found my way to tell a story through a lens: to capture moments of movement, emotion, and art in a precise, honest, and present way.

My goal as a photographer is to allow dancers to enjoy a professional photography experience that speaks their language,
That respects the path they take – and showcases the unique strengths of each one.
For me, photography is not just documentation, but a creative encounter.
I approach all shoots with an attitude of dialogue, encouragement, and support – out of a desire to allow the dancers to express themselves, together we discover what is special about them – and create moments through the camera that tell a story.
I know firsthand the pressure that can accompany standing in front of a camera, especially in a competitive world like dance, so it is important to me to create a safe, professional, pleasant space – and above all, an experiential and enjoyable one.
